Sr. Patty Kerezsi renewed her commitment to Franciscan vowed life.

On August 10, 2008 we celebrated with Sr. Patricia Kerezsi as she renewed her vows. Our Lady of Angels Chapel was filled with sisters, companions, and Patty’s family—all gathered to witness her renewed commitment to living and sharing our Franciscan way of life.

A national certified mental health counselor, Sr. Patty previously ministered at St. Joseph Family Center in Spokane. This past year, however, she moved back east and now works with the Ministry of Caring in Wilmington. Most of her time is spent at Mary Mother of House House I where our sisters have ministered for more than thirty years.

with the ministry of Caring. For some that involves dealing with a major crisis; for others it provides help in dealing with the challenges of everyday life. For Sr. Patty, working with the Ministry of Caring provided opportunities to meet people from many different backgrounds and to work in an environment where the Franciscan Spirit is alive and well! “Our Mission Statement is lived out daily in the various shelters, transitional residences, and other places of outreach within the Ministry of Caring,” she explained. “I hope to be here serving God’s people in Wilmington for many years to come.”
